I am extremely lucky to have started in this business so young, therefore I have always known what's happening in and around the fashion world, especially when it comes to events, parties, who's who and trends to look out for. However with the recent most exciting month having been upon us, one question I have always been asked is how I always get invited to things. Well now I reveal how you can be in the know if you're not in the business yourself.

Happy Sunday! Today's video is up along side my tip of the week which is: Always push yourself to  try new things, be it new recipes and foods, new makeup styles and travels. This week I've been pushing myself to work harder, try new things out with my organisational habits and foods. I want to be a lot more punctual and carry on trying my best, but every once in a while you need a bit of variation.

Working Out at Home • HEALTH & FITNESS

So many people think that the answer to the 'perfect body' is spending £50 a month on a gym membership, which realistically speaking you're barely going to go to. Now I'm not opposed to the gym; at college I would go for an hour at the end of the day, but that was because it was free. I wouldn't pay to do something out of my way, that I can do from the comfort of my own home.

A Letter To My Younger Self • LIFESTYLE

Image is not my own - sourced from my tumblr
We've all had hopes, had dreams, difficult times in our lives, things that we thought would pan out differently. If we could go back in time are there things we would do differently or simply things we would tell ourselves, knowing what we know now? What would you say the key messages were that really summed up what's important to life? I decided to write myself a letter, based on my current state of life and reminding myself that it's all going to be okay.

Brunch Dates At Marmadukes • FOOD

I think brunch and dinner are the best excuses to go out somewhere nice to eat and when it comes to finding the perfect brunch spot for a cute little date, where else other than Marmadukes. Connor and I discovered this three floored independent haven of good good and drinks at 22 Norfolk Row in Sheffield (S1 2 PA) randomly on a day out shopping together and it's been our little secret ever since. But some secrets are too juicy to keep, those that are about food that is, hence why I am sharing this adorable spot that serves breakfast, brunch and lunch Monday - Saturday 9am - 5pm and 10am - 4pm on Sundays.

WHY LONG DISTANT RELATIONSHIPS SUCK • LOVE, SEX & RELATIONSHIPS

Image is not my own - edited from tumblr
Whilst others may think we are crazy trying to make a long distance relationship work or even think about being in a relationship whilst at university, my boyfriend and I have both discussed in lengths the possibilities and opportunities we could have being single, although none were options we wanted to consider. If you both believe it will work then it will, if you have doubts it will slowly fizzle out and the spark that you have will go out because you’re not putting in the commitment that comes with a relationship – especially a long distance one.

Primark Online Shopping • FASHION

Primark Loving
It's been a while since I've done online shopping for clothes, a really long while. I think the last time I did online shopping for clothes was the January 2015 sales. Wow has it really been that long? A whole year? Go Ashlee! Well done for my restraint. I used to spend hours scrolling through sites at things that I couldn't afford and I guess that got to me and I told myself that I needed to stop. But I feel as though my wardrobe for Spring is seriously lacking some colour or anything that feels new and interesting and I thought of the one place that is easiest to pick up a bargain every time. Primark.

THE WEEKLY VLOG! #7 • LIFESTYLE

Thank you so much for watching another Weekly Vlog here on The Life of Rosie! Don't forget to give the video a thumbs up and subscribe to my YouTube channel if you haven't already! It's been a super fun week full of activities, I've been baking sugar-free biscuits (vegan of course), I've been to see Eton Messy, I've gone for a lovely dinner date, seen Ghost in the theatre as well as having a beautiful brunch date with Connor. It's been such a fun week I've actually been MIA from Instagram, hence why there's no TWIP's post alongside this, as frankly there is no pictures from the week! However I haven't forgotten about my tip of the week, which is: Always make sure you spend the evening's doing something that makes you happy, that is for yourself and is what you want to be doing! That way whatever has happened before that means that the day is ended on a happy note and has turned a bad day into a good one!

What's the easiest way to get fit and healthy? Stop eating junk and not moving your trunk! Yes swapping sugar for swimming or crisps for cycling is one way but for me the answer is always running. Why? Because it sends natural feel good vibes through your body which has the same pleasure as chocolate and sex. Yes. True.

Personal Reflection - What Do You Want? The Quarter Life Crisis • LIFESTYLE

Photograph of me by Lucy Alice Burt
I've always wanted to be someone who achieves. For me completing something gives me the satisfaction that I am 'on track' somehow, and I crave that need to have things done and sorted. However as I approach my twentieth birthday this year, I've come to a huge crossroad in my life, where the plan I've always been working towards and the goals I've been achieving are slowly becoming less and less as dreamy and desirable as I thought. Suddenly I'm one of the many who are now entering the quarter life crisis.

Vegan Pizza... That Isn't Cheeseless at Porter Pizza • FOOD

Connor and I ordered two pizzas each... we ate both within 10 minutes.
Okay so as a vegan, one of the things I miss most is pizza. Let's not lie... pizza is probably one of the most simple yet genius creations when it comes to food. Whilst this dish is typically related back to the Italian foodies, this heavenly tasting dish can be originated back to the ancient times of cultures in the Middle East, where Babylonians, Israelites, Egyptians, Armenians, Greeks and Romans all ate flat bread cooked in mud ovens. Fast forward to 2016 and the idea of pizza evolving to suit vegans is still a very underground thing. More often then not when ordering pizza from a delivery service, I have to stress NO CHEESE. However... this may be the case no more...

Why I Refuse To Jump on The Baby Boom • LOVE, SEX & RELATIONSHIPS

Baby Bears

Okay so I thought this was a 'thing' like a trend of the moment in 2015, not necessarily a good one... but lot's of people were having babies. Aw cute... No. Not so much. It seems again in 2016 Facebook is constantly popping up with announcements of people 'expecting a little bundle of joy.' Don't get me wrong children have amazing qualities, such as the leap of faith to do things, us adults (probably) wouldn't dare, they are inquisitive and caring, however let's not avoid the obvious... they do require a lot of time and responsibility.  Something that I think this day and age are to frivolous about and don't quite process... you know, the fact that it's a person?! So before you read this post and think I'm a child hating demon, let me just stress that these are some of the procedures that I think should be in place before bringing another number into this overly populated planet.

Currently Obsessed With Normcore • FASHION

Normcore

For those of you who haven't been living under a rock, you will have noticed a huge trend known as 'norm core' over social media sites such as twittertumblr and instagram all showing a rise in the trend, with the hashtag being used to display celebrities, models and 'inspos' sporting this understated look. The contemporary fashion trend is a stylised blandness, something that has an essence of the 90s American teen with a self-aware desire to be blank.

How To Stay Healthy at University • HEALTH & FITNESS

Being a student can often come with the stigma that you are lazy, messy and unhealthy (whilst on the most part this often lies true when I've got piles of Selfridges bags at the end of my bed and magazines stacked on my bedside table as I catch up on TV and Netflix in bed). This post is a few of my tips for keeping your diet in good spirits and my bank balance on track.

The Perfect Film For Valentines Day... About Time Review • LIFESTYLE

Image is not my own, courtesy of Universal Pictures.

The idea of a cosy night in with a romantic film, some take-away food and a couple of candles, may sound more like your type of Valentines Day, but with the enormous amount of choice when it comes to the classic romantic comedy, it can be hard to find the right one for a night in with your partner. Entering one of my favourite films... About Time, a sweet film that blurs Richard Curtis' skilled proficiency in creating romantic classics such as Love Actually and Notting Hill and the hard to master science fiction. For 2 hours and 4 minutes, the 2013 release takes you on an emotional roller coaster of laughter, crying, self-evaluation and motivational inspiration.

For me, this is the perfect film to watch with your partner, to really evaluate your own relationship and learn a lot about appreciating their small habits, loving those closest to you more openly and not taking the everyday matters of life for granted.

The Laziest Vegan Chocolate Chip Brownie Recipe Ever • FOOD

Photograph of my final brownies topped with icing sugar
I am a sucker for brownies. The sweet, rich, chocolatey deliciousness gets me every time and they are my number one craving when Mother Nature is paying her monthly visit. But buying brownies is full of processed sugars, lots of unhealthy fats and additives and preservatives that in actuality don't taste as good as fresh gooey, moist homemade ones. But the effort of all the ingredients and buying and making and blah, blah, blah is all to much right? Wrong! Here is my quick and easy 15 minutes to make and 30 minutes to bake recipe, tried and tested and approved.

The Ultimate Packing Guide #4 : A Romantic Mini Break • TRAVEL

Romantic Mini Break

You may be surprising your loved one with a little trip away from your usual surroundings to spend some quality alone time together, or perhaps you're the one being whisked off. Either way it's important to pack as minimal as possible. It's unlikely you will be spending a lot of time in the outside world, surrounded with nature. Perhaps a cosy beachside B&B, or a spa retreat or even a Parisian city escape. Either way, there are a few essentials that should be in your holdall with you...

How to Get Yourself Out of A Bad Mood • HEALTH & FITNESS

Image is not my own - edit from tumblr
Dealing with mental illnesses is hard. No one tells you how hard or prepares you for the moments when suddenly out of nowhere you are in a low mood that seems so insufferable and painful you feel that you will never get out of it. But living with mental illness for the past decade one thing I have learnt is to step back from what you're thinking and look at your life from an outside party perspective. This post is an honest insight into how I have learnt to smile when I feel like crying and the thought process I run through to get out of a bad mood.

What Do Vegans Really Eat? #1 • FOOD

Photograph of me by Lucy Alice Burt
One of the main questions I get asked is, as a vegan what the hell do I eat? It's a pretty standard question, but one that really baffles me that so many people don't know simple foods that are SFV (safe for vegans) or things that they can find alternatives for and recipes they can adapt. Most people I meet struggle to understand what I have for breakfast, which to me is crazy as I eat the same 'normal' breakfast as everyone else, toast, cereal, fruit, smoothies, porridge, granola, yoghurts... whatever I fancy. So I thought that I would help those who want to know more about everyday vegan foods by showing you my last home delivery order. So keep reading if you want to know WHAT DO VEGANS REALLY EAT?!

The Valentines Gift Guide For Her • LOVE, SEX & RELATIONSHIPS

Valentines Gifts For Her

Valentines Day, unfortunately is more of a commercialised scheme to convince us that in order to show we care we need to spend x amount of money on our loved ones. This isn't true, as all girls know (or at least should) that money does not buy love, however as it is a nice day to celebrate with your special someone it isn't a bad idea getting them something that shows you understand their interests and what they love by buying them a gift that reflects their personality. This is the secret to being good at gifts. The idea of being showered in red roses, teddy bears and chocolates, although sweetly romantic in films is all too cliche and overrated. What girls really want are personal gifts that mean something to them/you as a couple or something that they have hinted to you at multiple times and explained they liked. Can't remember what all those not-so-subtle hints were? Don't worry, I have a gift guide here full of ideas and inspirations for every type of girl from home accessories to fashion accessories, makeup to stationery, baking gadgets to technology gadgets, nail polishes to jewellery. It's all here, panic not, and it's all online so you don't even need to rush out and buy anything. Sit back and relax...
